About Luciano Perondi

Luciano Perondi (Busto Arsizio, 1976) has been involved professionally in type, graphic and information design since 1998. His main fields of interest are writing and reading processes, the history of writing and its non-linear use (sinsemia). In 2003 he started Molotro, a design studio the aim of which is the design of custom and commercial typefaces as well as graphic and information design. Molotro’s projects often include a part of scientific research. From 2004 to 2013 he lectured in several schools and universities on the subject of typography, type design and information design. Since 2007 he is a tenured lecturer on the History of Books at Isia Urbino. From 2013 to 2016 he was the director of that Institute. Since 2015 he is member of CAST, a type foundry.
