About Federico Oppedisano

Federico O. Oppedisano, an architect, graduated from the Sapienza University of Rome. He is a researcher and instructor of industrial design at the E. Vittoria School of Architecture and Design at the University of Camerino. His current courses include Communication Design for the Industrial and Environmental Design undergraduate program, the Design 2 laboratory for the Computational Design Master’s program, and the Environmental Communication course for the Master’s program in Eco-design and Eco-innovation. His research activities focus on visual and multimedia communication. He has recently participated in different research projects related to design for social communication, visual institutional and territorial identity, and the design of public spaces. His publications include Espressioni visive per il radical design (Alinea, 2008); Videocomunicare. Territori per il design dell’audiovisione (Alinea, 2009); L’immagine neutra, Indicazioni e contributi interdisciplinari per la riflessione sull’approccio al design della comunicazione audiovisiva (Alinea, 2010); and Il design visivo di stagioni violate. Le campagne di comunicazione visiva contro la violenza all’infanzia (Alinea, 2013).
